This gutsy chai mingles with Zealong's black tea, evoking all the exotic flavors of faraway places and leaving one with just a suggestion of lingering smoky char.
The Heritage collection is a unique take of the best-loved brews from around the world blended the Zealong way with all-organic ingredients.
Zealong's hand-picked teas offer a premium flavor and nutrient profile. Certified organic and cultivated in the renowned Waikato region on New Zealand's North Island, the colder environment forces the flavor and nutrients into the newest growth, which Zealong meticulously harvests by hand-picking only the top three leaves. These award-winning teas are free from artificial flavors, oils, or additives.
Available in loose-leaf or tea bags, with the latter made from non-GMO, renewable plant sources, the tea bags are 100% food-safe, non-toxic, and compostable under the right conditions.
Each pack is fully traceable to the date and block it was picked. The state-of-the-art processing facilities adhere to a strict HACCP ISO22000 food safety regime, eliminating risk of contamination and free from harmful chemicals.

Fabulous Chai! You are a silky translucent black tea with a touch of 5 healthy spices where not a single spice is out of tune, but all resonate in perfect harmony. ***Cardamom, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Ginger, Clove*** ...and all of which are known for their powerful healing properties! What's not to love!?
Zealong’s Chai is one of my favorites as well, and you captured it perfectly. The harmony of spices paired with that silky, translucent black tea is exactly what makes it so special. I’ve been enjoying it as a latte lately too - I brew it with warm milk instead of water. It's wonderfully comforting and warming.
You’re absolutely right about the ingredients. And I love that Zealong uses whole spices rather than crushed or powdered ones. Not only does it create a more balanced, nuanced flavor, but it also beautiful. :)

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on Zealong’s Own Chai! I’m usually a green tea drinker myself, but this winter I’ve been absolutely loving the Chai. The smell, the flavor, and honestly just how beautiful it is - the big pieces of cinnamon, clove, ginger, cardamom, and pepper- it’s such a treat.
My brother drinks it every day and recently taught me how to make a Chai latte with steamed milk, the tea, and just a tiny bit of sweetener (I use Allulose). Oh my goodness … it’s my new dessert!
